History
Texas Spanish Academy is a locally and family owned center founded by Matthew and Edina Morrison. It all started in 2010 when Edina and Matthew were in search of, and could not find the right school that had the perfect balance of fun, learning, Spanish, and feeling like home. With Edina being degreed and certified as a teacher, they knew they had the tools and resources to make that perfect place a reality. That perfect place began as Oak Hill Spanish Learning Center, which operated successfully for 2 years serving the families of southwest Austin. OHSLC outgrew their space, so Texas Spanish Academy was born. Staying true to what made OHSLC successful, TXSA remains a small home-like environment with very low ratios. Fun and safety are still the focus and the learning and Spanish are just the icing on the cake!
