HistoryKenny Lux, owner and operator of Lux Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC. in New Braunfels has 24 years of experience in the funeral business. He started his career as a funeral director and embalmer in 1994 at one of the local funeral homes in New Braunfels, where he spent the next 12 years. In 2006, he joined a large combo facility in San Antonio as General Manager. On July 1, 2011 he opened Lux Funeral Home & Cremation Services in New Braunfels. Kenny has a diploma in Mortuary Science and a Bachelor's of Science in Business.SpecialtiesLux Funeral Home & Cremation Services offers traditional funerals, graveside services, cremation services with viewing, cremation memorial services and direct cremation. In addition, we also offer families the ability to pre-arrange and or pre-pay their services ahead of time. Even after hours, your phone call will be answered by a licensed funeral director, either Kenny Lux, Valerie Costello or Corina Kaiser, as we do not employ the use of an answering service. We have two separate Spanish Mediterranean buildings on our property. One building houses our offices and spacious visitation room, while the second building is our funeral chapel, which is used for funeral and memorial services, rosaries and visitations. Our funeral chapel is 3,000 square feet and seats 180 people, while our spacious office building is more than 3,600 square feet. Both of our buildings are brand new-the administration building was completed in 2015 and our chapel was completed in 2017.
