Established in 1971, Texas A&M University-Texarkana is an upper level public university that serves junior, senior and graduate students. It operates on a semester system and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The university has an enrollment of more than 1,500 students and employs over 55 full-time faculty members. Located in Texarkana, Texas, the university offers more than 20 baccalaureate programs and over 10 graduate programs. It also offers online courses. The university s library is a more than 46,000 square-foot-facility with a seating capacity for over 300 students.
