Prior to real estate, I was a high school counselor. After losing my sister and her two children in a tragic home fire, I took a little time off and began taking real estate classes. Once I realized that working with adults to find homes is a lot like counseling, I decided to continue real estate. Starting during a time that many agents were leaving the profession I have managed to have continued success. My counseling background has given me the skills to help negotiate some very difficult transactions and work with very different clients through the years.
