History
Summers Mill Retreat was originally the Chisholm Trail Ostrich Farm. In the late 1990s, renovations began to convert the farm into the retreat and conference center facilities. Over the next 10 years, buildings were added and the retreat grew from 10 lodging rooms to 65. A game room, workout facility, and chapel were added for our guests' enjoyment. Our business has grown to include family reunions, church retreats, craft groups, and several business conferences, including small local companies and larger national companies.
