History
St. Andrew's Church was founded as a mission church of the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas in 1956 to serve Episcopalians in the newly growing areas of Carrollton and Farmers Branch. In 1957 land was purchased at Valwood Parkway and Dennis Lane, and on August 3, 1958 the first service was held in what is now our parish hall. The present church building on the land at Valwood and Dennis was dedicated on September 5, 1968. Our current congregation comprises founding members of the parish, adults who grew up as kids in our parish, as well as many members and families who have joined our parish family over the years. You will find a welcoming parish family at St. Andrew's.
