About Dr. Sara Goel Sara Goel, DO, is a board-certified interventional pain management physician by training who specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation at her office in Houston, Texas. Dr. Goel is skilled with up-to-date treatments and is committed to providing comprehensive patient care for headaches, joint pain, and spine-related pain. She integrates a multidisciplinary approach, incorporating medication management and physical therapy in combination with interventional pain management. Dr. Goel began her education at the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in biology and a business foundations minor. She then attended medical school at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California, with a specialty training in osteopathic medicine. She completed her internship at the Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, before completing her residency at Baylor College of Medicine/UT PM&R Alliance in Houston, Texas.
