Rex-Hide manufactures custom rubber extrusion products for skirtboard, bumpers, snow plow blades, channels and T extrusions. It also produces tire flaps for trucks, buses, road graders, off road and retreading vehicles. Rex-Hide is a second tier supplier to the automotive industry and has received 'certified supplier' status from several companies. Rex was founded during WWII and began by manufacturing shoe products and various molded goods in a small town in Western Pennsylvania. The company moved its headquarters to Tyler, Texas in 1977. It also operates a manufacturing plant in West Virginia and owns 6 subsidiaries located throughout the United States.
