Becky started her journey into womenTMs health care by becoming a Certified Direct Entry Midwife in Alaska in 2008. She loved her work but knew something was missing. She determined that she wanted to provide care to every woman who wanted to have midwifery care, in or out of the hospital. This sent her on an educational journey that culminated with her MasterTMs degree in Midwifery and Certified Nurse Midwifery Credential from University of Philadelphia. Becky has worked in many roles taking care of women, including a labor and delivery nurse, lactation educator and as a midwife in many different settings, including community based birth both at home and at a birthing center.
