Polly's Pet Shop was started by Norm and Trudy Housley in May 1977. Their goal was to provide customers with a friendly and knowledgeable staff to guide our customers through all the many trials and triumphs of pet ownership. Polly's Pets, now under ownership of their son Steve and his wife Shelly, has expanded to become one of the largest independently owned pet shops in Texas. Our staff takes great pride in providing excellence in customer service and expert knowledge on all types of pets, from the everyday to the exotic.

Polly's is a family owned full line pet store. We offer all types of animals, birds, reptiles, fresh & saltwater fish and corals, and small animals. We offer the best variety of dog and cat food anywhere and carry a full line of products for all your pet's wants and needs priced competitively with the big box stores. Polly's also partners with Animal Care Services San Antonio to offer rescue puppies and kittens for adoption right here in our store! We also offer aquarium setup and maintenance for all types of aquariums, including custom setups.
