History
Poco Playa was opened up in the summer of 2012. It's creator and owner has been visiting Matagorda, TX since the early 1990's with his family. From fishing to hunting, Matagorda beach was always apart of his life. The owner loves the history of the city, and of course it's sentimental meaning to him personally. To make Matagorda more of a destination spot for a family man like himself, he decided to open Poco Playa. He hoped that he could bring something new and exciting to the area, that both residents and visitors would love.
