UT Southwestern Plano has special expertise in caring for adolescents and young adults between the ages of 11 and 25. We understand the physical and emotional changes related to the transition to adulthood and are specially trained to assess all areas of a young person’s health. All of our doctors are board certified or board eligible in adolescent medicine, which means we’ve received advanced training to address the medical and developmental needs of young people. Our pediatric adolescent and young adult medicine specialists do not replace our patients’ primary care physicians. Instead, we provide additional support to the care they receive elsewhere.
