Park Cities Historic and Preservation Society (PCHPS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the history, architecture, aesthetics, and cultural traditions of the Park Cities in Dallas, TX. With roots dating back to 1982, PCHPS has been actively involved in various historical preservation initiatives, including landmark designation programs, educational programs, and the preservation of historic homes. Preservation Park Cities, founded in 2000, merged with the Historical Society to form the current community-led PCHPS. Funds raised by PCHPS support various preservation initiatives, including the maintenance of the Park Cities House at Dallas Heritage Village, the establishment of archives, scholarships for architecture and history students, and the funding of a Distinguished Chair for History at Highland Park High School.
