Specialties
While in school, I broadened my knowledge of acupuncture with many extracurricular seminars in order to offer my patients versatile and unique treatments. I focused on Chinese herbs, pulse diagnosis, gua sha, and cupping. What I have found is that our bodies are infinitely intelligent and acupuncture can help remind our bodies what is already innately there, the ability for all of us to heal ourselves. I am interested in helping patients with chronic pain, pain from injuries, chronic illnesses, stress management, and psychosocial support. I am also interested in working with preteens and teenagers in order to help them navigate the daily pressures of their lives. I look forward to helping patients develop plans to improve their quality of life and want to help nurture a strong sense of community within my patient base. I received my undergraduate Bachelor in Fine Arts with an emphasis in photography from Louisiana State University. My undergraduate degree has helped me recognize and appreciate the beauty in everyday life. Through my studies, I am able to identify the subtleties of the human form and help improve imbalances that may be present.
