Hailey Elementary School serves more than 600 students in pre-kindergarten through grade four. The school has a library media center that assists students in the use of current and appropriate information and encourages reading as a lifetime activity. The school offers academic classes in various subjects, such as vocal and instrumental music, math, science, speech, technology, art, health, social studies and physical education. It offers an accelerated reader program, which is a curriculum-based assessment tool that provides a summary and analysis of results to monitor quantity and quality of reading practices engaged in by the students. It is operated by the Conroe Independent School District, which also operates several elementary, middle and high schools. Hailey Elementary School has been operational for more than 25 years and is located in The Woodlands, Texas.
