North Texas Youth Connection was founded in 1979 (under the name Grayson County Juvenile Alternatives, Inc) by a group of concerned citizens to address the needs of runaway and homeless youth. Services offered have expanded and modified to keep up with the ever-changing needs of youth and families.Services now include a shelter for runaway, homeless and abused youth ages 10-17; free counseling for youth ages 0-17 and their families in thirteen counties in North Texas; and community outreach and prevention services.North Texas Youth Connection is a private 501 (c) organization governed by a Board of Directors and supported by and Advisory Board, Safe Place Advisory Board, and Youth Advocacy Council.Follow us on TwitterNeed an idea about what to talk with your kids about at the dinner table?
