History
The legacy of Mosaic began almost 100 years ago on the plains of America's Heartland as a compassionate response to the neglect of people with disabilities in the institutions of the early 20 century. Groups of faithful Lutherans created Beth-phage in Axtell, Neb. adn Martin Luther Homes in Sterling, Neb. Because they were determined to reach beyond the reality of the day in order to provide services for people with developmental disabilities.
