History
As I worked in theater in the metroplex, I realized how rarely I was able to work on classical opera, and how many audience members were turned off by just the mention of the word. Viewing opera as merely another facet of theater, I began thinking of ways to bring opera back into mainstream theater. I noticed that the large scale grand opera was well-represented in the area, but smaller-scale, chamber operas which are as easily produced as small plays and musicals, were rarely presented. I quickly found a desire ignited to find a way to bring opera back to the theater audiences.
