Founded in 2000, the company's original mission and capabilities have grown from that of providing digital office machines and document management software to a complete array of technologies including computers, networking and custom software solutions. Our continuing education program has helped to develop a staff of seasoned individuals who capably and professionally deliver the products and service offerings of the company. The Chief Executive Officer at docTRONX has over forty years in the data processing industry, beginning in an arena that used IBM System/360 mainframes as its core computing resource. From there, he grew his personal and professional career in a wide variety of business disciplines using a wide variety of computing resources, concluding with his employment as Chief Information Officer at Texas A & I University Kingsville. Upon his departure from the university in 1993, he became an independent consultant, providing technology consulting and software development to a number of businesses. In 2000, he rolled his successful consulting business into a new business venture that created docTRONX and began the offerings enumerated above. docTRONX presently employs a number of individuals who have college educations from a number of different institutions. All have additional professional training and certifications beyond their formal education. Ongoing professional conferences and training are part of annual updates that insure each of them stays current with technology they need to support our clients. docTRONX provides data support services, digital office equipment, electronic document and data management systems, and software design design and development as its core business offerings. Out of necessity, all of the required business practices, computing infrastructure and end-user training are provided by us to our clients. docTRONX delivers a complete solution that requires no additional vendor support, which means the computing infrastructure of computers, software, networks and communication highways are designed, installed and maintained by the docTRONX staff. In addition to the software offerings of our vendors, we plan, develop, maintain and support a number of custom software products that have been developed for our clients over the years. Digital office machine products and support functions enhance the technology offerings of the company. The digital multi-function office machine ( copier ) is the most ubiquitous input and output device in today's office that can be used to implement true electronic document management. Most clients have one and are therefore already technology enabled for such a system. docTRONX recently acquired a Panasonic dealership in order to offer our customers a launch platform for both networking and document management.
