Founded in 1995, the Merket Alumni Center hosts luncheons, meetings, receptions, weddings, and award and ring ceremonies. The center offers a range of catering services. It features a banquet hall and courtyard. The Merket Alumni Center also includes an alumni lounge and conference room. It is one of the facilities of the Texas Tech Alumni Association. Also known as TTAA, the association has more than 27,000 members. Founded in 1927, it provides student scholarships and financial aids. The Texas Tech Alumni Association offers travel opportunities and organizes graduation fairs. The association maintains Frazier Alumni Pavilion, as well as administers a legacy program.
