Meadowmere Park is a 250 acre park that was leased in 1988 from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Meadowmere Park provides daily guest access to the 8000 water acres of Lake Grapevine for $5 or $10 on Holidays.
Specialties
Meadowmere Park has more than 50 beautiful lake side primitive campsites for you to enjoy. Each campsite comes with a picnic table and fire ring. You may bring your cooler but NO GLASS please. There is no water or electricity at the sites but there is a bath house with toilets and showers. Daily rates for camping are $25 per site per night except for Holidays which are $35 per site per night. Check-in for campsites begins at 2 PM each day and checkout by 1:30 PM on your departure day. Camping fee includes entry to the park for 2 vehicles. Camp sites accommodate 6 people in up to 2 tents. Pets are also welcome as long as they remain on a held leash and are cleaned up after. For your safety and to respect fellow campers, park gates close at sunset each night. No in and out during quiet time (10 PM-8 AM) except for emergencies. Campers must be 21 years of age to camp at Meadowmere or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Meadowmere Park also offers kayak rentals seven days a week, weather permitting*. Two hour time slots are available from 9 AM to 4:30 PM. All Kayaks must be returned by 6:30 PM. Single seat Kayaks are $20 and Tandem (two seat) Kayaks are $25 for two hours. Four hour sessions are available for $35 in a single seat Kayak and $40 in a Tandem. Plan to arrive 15 minutes before scheduled reservation to complete sign waiver. Paddles, Personal Floatation Device and safety whistle are provided. Water shoes are recommended
