Mayde Creek High School provides various educational programs to develop academic, critical thinking, problem solving and behavioral skills of students in grades 9 through12. Its curriculum includes several advanced placement and honors classes, dual-credit courses, international business courses, and career and technology offerings. The school has implemented a PLATO software-based program, Seeking Alternatives for At-Risk Individuals, to assist students with academic success and credit restoration. It offers a variety of extracurricular activities and student organizations, such as a student council, the National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, Future Farmers of America, orchestra, drama, band, and foreign language, multicultural and service clubs. The school additionally provides opportunities to participate in a variety of sports activities, including football, volleyball, baseball, softball, soccer, tennis, track, cross country, wrestling and golf. Mayde Creek High School is located in Houston and is a part of the Katy Independent School District.
