Founded in 1976, the purpose of Marian Moss Enterprises is to enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities and disadvantaged conditions by promoting employment options that encompass personal choice, increase economic independence and offer opportunities for personal growth. The organization, doing business as Direct Mattress, manufactures mattresses, pallets, paper sleeves and assembles components. In addition, it provides vocational skills training, job readiness, job development, employment placement programs and job coaching services. Direct Mattress products include recreational vehicle mattresses, waterbed conversions, day beds, truck sleepers, adjustable airbeds, a variety of headboards and a full line of futons. Marion Moss Enterprises conducts operations from its headquarters in Lubbock, Texas.
