With over 20 years of extensive culinary experience which began with his family-owned catering company & restaurant in Argentina, Executive Chef & Owner Diego Salguero created Lucia's with his wife, Deborah, so that he could share his passion for Argentine food with the world. In 2000, Diego left Argentina for Houston to breathe new life into the traditional Argentine cuisine with which he was raised. There, Diego refined his unique fusion of Argentine & American cuisine as a food consultant & personal chef. In 2005, Diego began catering events in Los Angeles, New York, Miami & more recently, in Houston. With his catering, Diego developed a menu that is customizable for any type of event or palate. Due to the classic nature of his ingredients, he can make any number of changes to his dishes without sacrificing quality. Diego's knowledge, experience, passion & creativity have enabled him to create distinctive food, food that gives people a reason to come together & celebrate life.
