History
We got started back in '05 , we used to be in the other end of the cattle business , now we are in the cookin end of it, our building ( the kitchen and main dining room) used to be a rib place in Vernon, 15 miles east of Chillicothe, we purchased it and had it moved to Chillicothe and eventually had to add 2 rooms, ( one for the huge in house smoker and the front room was a screened in porch for dining, but it got too dusty for folks to eat out there , so we enclosed it , ) We are proud to make our homemade items, I ( Sue ) make the seasoning for the meats, and the bbq sauce and the salsa, & cobblers, most of the time we'll have homemade ice cream ( Tommy makes it ) he also makes the meaty & pinto beans, potato salad and cooks the meats, and we age the steaks ourself,
Specialties
specialize in bbq and aged steaks, and in homemade foods, we make alot of our items by scratch, thereby having our own unique taste, and avoiding alot of preservatives , specialize in making our customers feel like family , ( true story, a few of our customers felt so at home they walked out with the coffee cup and forgot to pay the bill, :) .... they did come back and pay ,
