La Encantada Elementary School has an enrollment of more than 450 students in prekindergarten through grade five and has nearly 50 staff members. The school helps all children meet high standards of academic achievement through a curriculum alignment, individualized instruction, technology, library scheduling and a positive learning environment. An accelerated reading program is also implemented that provides students with a diverse range of reading resources, which helps students increase their reading and vocabulary skills and self-esteem. The school encourages the students to participate in multimedia contest, science fair and spelling bee.
