History
Our six-room boutique hotel is historically rebuilt using regional lumber, Ocotillo stalks and stacked rock from its hillside. The structures were built on four existing foundations formed in the 1880s when the mining town, Terlingua, was booming. A touch of rustic Mexico is found in the stone and tile work, tin roofs and handcrafted doors. The guestrooms are small but lovingly outfitted with cane and sotol stalk ceilings, ceiling fans, air conditioning units, and comfy beds. All guests enjoy access to our large multi-level stone patios with stunning views of the Chisos Mountain Range and Big Bend National Park, an outdoor kitchen, several hammocks, and firepits. The guesthouse is located on a hill above historic Terlingua Ghost Town within walking distance of our coffee shop, Espresso Y Poco Mas.
