History
The owners met while working at the same restaurant in the 80s. Challo was a dishwasher and Primo was a line cook. The two bonded over a shared hope, or esperanza, to one day own their own restaurant. Maria and Primo married and chased this dream together and the rest is history. Together with their adult children they continue to run La Esperanza.
