History
Dr. Jordan completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. She then relocated to Austin to establish herself in private practice while simultaneously working in several local clinics. Dr. Jordan has worked with children, adolescents, adults and couples using both psychological testing/assessment as well as individual, couples and group therapy. Over the years she has received additional training in psychobiology and attachment theory and has applied this information to enhance her work with patients. Dr Jordan continues to teach throughTexas State University as well as the University of Texas at Austin and trains psychology students at the Master's, Doctorate and Post-Doctorate levels. She also continues to participate in research in conjunction with the University of Texas at Austin. As a clinician and a researcher Dr. Jordan can offer the most current and research-based interventions to help her patients.
