Krause Children's Center, based in Katy, Texas, is a residential treatment center for children and is operated by Lutheran Social Services. The center provides treatment for children ages 11 through 17, who suffer from behavioral and emotional problems due to abuse and neglect. It is a modern facility providing various educational and recreational activities through the Hammond Field House and the John Reed Educational Center. Krause Children's Center also has computer-equipped classrooms and a gymnasium. The center is staffed by multidisciplinary professionals who provide a variety of services for boys and girls.
