The Klein Independent School District, formerly known as Rural High School District Number One, provides a range of educational services to students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. It offers regular academic, language training, and special and occupational educational programs to more than 35,000 students. The district also offers a Spanish program, as well as a variety of sports activities at its elementary schools. The Klein Independent School District provides dance, music, and arts and crafts classes. It additionally maintains financial, food service, transportation, human resources, information technology and community services departments. The district partners with ExxonMobil, Shell Oil, and other business and corporations for academic and financial support. In addition, it maintains a parent-teacher association that helps in organizing various events and programs.
