History
I've always wanted to help people; I just didn't realize counseling was the way I'd end up doing it. While pursuing my undergraduate degree in psychology at Baylor University, I quickly began to develop my passion for pursuing a career in mental health counseling. Working with adolescents at the Waco Center for Youth in my last two years of study at Baylor further convinced me that I had found my career path. During my graduate studies at St. Edward's University, I began working with adults struggling with mental illness at Austin State Hospital. Since finishing my Master's Degree in Counseling, I've worked at a relationship counseling center - helping couples move forward from the heartaches of Infidelity - and I worked as the lead therapist at a substance use treatment center - helping individuals and families better understand and break the cycle of addiction. I am now in private practice full-time and I'm here to guide and support couples through their struggles and challenges.
