History
Kearney's building has been a landmark business in Sunnyvale since 1889, operating as a feed store as Ellis Mercantile and then a general store, Lander's Mercantile in the 1940's. Earnest Kearney started working at the store in the 1940s and bought the building in 1983, naming it Kearney's Feed Store. In 1994, Kearney's Feed Store was destroyed by a fire, but it was rebuilt using the same brick. The property was sold in 2017, and today is operating as a local bar and grill paying homage to its farming past. The restaurant takes pride in the history of the feed store and has kept the original footprint of the building and salvaged all materials to use in the restaurant such as the wood paneling on the walls and bar. We take our history seriously and are proud to continue to serve the area!
