The Leading Edge Dance Company, formerly known as Kathy Marfin's Dance School Competition Team, has been a prominent presence in the San Antonio dance community for over 20 years. Membership to The Leading Edge Dance Company is by invitation only, with dancers evaluated throughout the year based on their work ethic, attitude, attendance, and technique. Invitations to join the company are sent out in May, but acceptance of new members continues until the first week of August. Located in the MacArthur Plaza shopping center, the studio offers a wide range of classes for all ages, including ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, and more.
