Jacksonville Middle School serves more than 650 students in grades seven and eight and offers a variety of educational services. It provides various instructional programs in language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, physical education, music, arts, theater, Spanish, choir and band. It also offers special programs for special education, gifted and talented and English as a second language course students. The school provides a variety of academic competitions and athletic activities, including basketball, football, tennis, track and volleyball. In addition, it offers various student organizations and clubs, such as art, cheerleading and science clubs, peer mediators and a student council. Located in Jacksonville, Texas, the middle school is a part of the Jacksonville Independent School District.
