Pratt's Karate Club, also known as PKC Karate, is a community martial arts program founded in 1979 by Master Leonard Pratt in Hutto, TX. Offering a well-rounded approach to martial arts, PKC Karate teaches Moo Duk Kwan Tae Kwon Do along with various other disciplines such as Kickboxing, Judo, Hapkido, Reality-based self-defense, Weapons, and Sport Karate. With a mission to promote family and community involvement in healthy activities, PKC Karate believes in keeping an open mind to enhance both martial arts skills and overall life experiences.
Under the leadership of President Jason Pratt, PKC Karate has achieved significant milestones, including promotions to 7th Dan in Moo Duk Kwan Taekwondo and the Bill Superfoot System. The club's strong ties to the United States Taekwondo Association and the American Society of Karate have allowed for exceptional opportunities, such as testing in front of renowned martial arts figures like Grandmaster Doug Cook and Bill Superfoot Wallace. Additionally, PKC Karate has expanded its reach, becoming a PE College Credit program at ACU Abilene Christian University and establishing multiple locations throughout Texas, including Hutto, Abilene, and Houston.
