The Dutch Lions FC NPSL team is owned by Martin Kroeze. As Mr. Kroeze looks to implement the Dutch style of playing, Dutch native Marco Pruis was signed as Head Coach. Pruis had previously Coached the Houston Dutch Lions FC for two season in the USL PDL (2014 & 2015 season), and the Dutch Lions FC for the 2016 season in the National Premier Soccer League. In 2016, the Dutch Lions FC NPSL had a very successful inaugural NPSL season. The team became South Central Champions after beating the Tulsa Athletics at their home in the final (2-1). On July 16th, the team fell in Chattanooga in the South Regional Semi Finals in front of 7.000 spectators. The team's record in 2016 was 11-2-2 with a stunning goal differential of 41-18. In 2017, the Dutch Lions FC NPSL fell in the Division semi final after a very successful regular season, the record was 6-2-3 with 28-21 goal differential.
