Hill Country Daily Bread (HCDBM) facilitates the formation of long-term Christ-centered relationships while addressing the physical needs of families and children living in poverty. More than 40,000 individuals live in poverty in the Texas Hill Country. Unfortunately, most of our neighbors are unaware of the extreme need which exists in our community and many of the needs of the impoverished remain unmet. HCDBM is the regional resource center for church outreach programs and non-profit agencies that serve those in poverty and crisis in an eight county area in the Texas Hill Country. Our mission is to address the needs of thousands of those in poverty in partnership with over seventy Christian organizations, dozens of secular groups, and hundreds of volunteers who are answering God's call. Our Mission: To help unite and equip the Body of Christ with food, resources and training necessary to transform our communities and the lives of those in poverty and need through the love and saving grace of Jesus Christ. We are a food and family mentoring ministry in Boerne, Texas. We serve 8 counties in the Texas Hill Country: Bandera, Northern Bexar, Blanco, Comal, Gillespie, Kendall, Kerr, Medina, and Wilson.
