Founded in 1961, Hamshire-Fannett High School is a public school serving the communities of Jefferson County in Texas. It is a college preparatory school, providing classes to students in grades nine through 12. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as English, math, social studies, technology, science and foreign languages. It also offers a full range of advanced placement and honors classes in its various academic areas. It has various departments that include counseling, physical education, fine arts and special education. The school houses a library and media center, cafeteria, fitness center and a wide range of clubs, such as art, key, band, chorus and computer club. The high school is a part of the Hamshire-Fannett Independent School District and enrolls more than 600 students.
