North Texas Youth Connection (NTYC), formerly known as Grayson County Juvenile Alternatives, has been dedicated to serving runaway, homeless, and street youth and their families since 1976. Inspired by the story of a young boy named James Carlson, NTYC was founded to provide a safe haven for vulnerable youth in the community.
As a locally controlled private nonprofit agency, NTYC continues to make a difference by offering programs and support to hundreds of youth facing similar challenges to those experienced by James Carlson over 40 years ago. Through their commitment to helping young individuals in need, NTYC remains a vital resource for the community.
