Tricia Lewis, owner and executive chef of Gourmaleo, is a 2003 graduate of The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. She has cooked her way around the country from San Francisco to Telluride to Austin and her obsession with nutritional baking and healthy diets has always lead her to seek out the alternative when it comes to what we eat. After struggling with painful osteoarthritis in her knees and having to quit a decade long career of cooking, Tricia changed her diet and began to see her arthritis symptoms disappear over a matter of weeks. She began to blog paleo recipes to share ideas with other paleo enthusiasts, and then started dropping off microwaveable meals for friends on the weekends. As the demand for meal deliveries quickly grew to be more than a weekend hobby, she took a leap of faith, quit her desk job and started Gourmaleo.
