History
Footy Factory originally began as an idea for a world-class soccer-specific training facility. With that always being a more long-term goal, however, founder Sean Afkhaminia decided to take a grassroots approach and build it from the ground up. Footy Factory was officially registered as an LLC in the state of Texas on January 27, 2014. The first training session was held for 3 kids on March 17 and over the next six months, that number had grown to over 80. In December, Carl Prestidge was added to the team. Originally from England, Carl came to the U.S. to play collegiate soccer at West Texas A&M where he was a teammate of Sean. The pair formed a strong bond and now lead a passionate and knowledgeable young coaching staff committed to individual player development. A year later, Footy Factory now has nearly 200 total players training in the academy, with over 50 of them competing for one of the 3 teams that have since been formed solely off of players coming through our syst

The mission of Footy Factory is to cultivate our players' athletic performance by promoting physical, technical, and personal growth. Not only will we aim to sharpen their natural abilities, but we will also teach them the values of respect, integrity, and self-belief. We aspire to form an institution that consistently takes in raw, unpolished talent and systematically develops and generates elite, well-rounded players. Our coaching staff will be committed to developing a mentoring relationship with each player so that we are able to tailor our sessions to focus on their individual needs, and provide the proper motivation and support they need to fulfill their dreams.
