History
When opened under Joseph Rodriguez, the store evolved from a upscale art gallery and showcase to an eclectic array of wonderful crafts from Peru, Guatemala, and Mexico. We specialize in looking for artisans that make us one of a kind type of art and jewelry. We continue to provide retablos, wooden masks from Jalisco and Guerrero and many selections of jewelry made from unique substances such as orange peel and seeds. Now the store is owned by Thalia Cantu, a retired school teacher who believes everyone walking in the doors should feel free to ask and be educated in the history of some of the pieces we carry in the store. We have talavera pottery items, textiles , and many different types of catrinas for the Day of the Dead collectors.
