Dr. Dilip Karnik received his medical training from Grant Medical College of the University of Bombay, India. He then completed his Pediatric residency at Rutgers University, New Jersey Medical School, followed by a fellowship at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center and King County Hospital in Brooklyn. Dr. Karnik was one of the first physicians to practice Pediatric Neurology in Austin nearly 35 years ago.Currently, he serves as director of pediatric neurology at the Starbright Rehabilitation Center, a group providing rehab services to brain-injured children. He is also an adjunct professor at the University of Texas at Austin and Medical Director of UTAP, the University of Texas Autism Program.
