Weldon Manufacturing, based in Fort Worth, Texas, has been providing products and services to the transportation industry since 1969. Weldon Manufacturing originally provided painting and collision repair services and in 1980 started building truck sleepers. In 1997, Weldon Manufacturing changed ownership. The new owners have focused the company's efforts on increasing product quality, developing new products, improving existing products, and increasing customer service. Our sleepers can be mounted integrally with the truck cab on air-ride suspension. Day Cab Conversions. Weldon Manufacturing continues to offer new products and solutions for our customers. We convert booted and integral sleeper trucks to day cabs. We build day cabs from flat-top, midrise and condo sleeper trucks on most make and models. The Weldon Western Bed, coupled with a sleeper or crew cab, makes a great RV, car or horse trailer hauler. This bed is designed to pull a fifth wheel or gooseneck trailer.
