Alfreda Bell, MD
Dr. Bell received her undergraduate degree in chemistry, from The University of Texas at Austin. She then matriculated to the Baylor College of Medicine for medical school and The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston for her residency training, where she also served as a chief resident. Dr. Bell is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Medical Association, Harris County Medical Society, American Heart Association-Professional Member and the National Medical Association. When not caring for her patients, Dr. Bell enjoys volunteering. She has served as an American Heart Association-American Stroke Association "Power to End Stroke" Ambassador and also volunteers with the organization's African-American Outreach Task Force. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, gardening and spending time with her husband, family and friends.
