Formed in 1906, the Del Rio Fire & Rescue Department is a full-service public safety agency. The department works to protect lives and property by providing fire prevention and education and emergency medical services. It is comprised of fire chiefs, captains, lieutenants, and inspection and investigation clerks. The department also operates a communication and dispatch center that coordinates responses to various emergency and nonemergency calls. The Del Rio Fire & Rescue Department maintains several fire stations. It is located in Del Rio, Texas.
