HistoryThe St. Paul Christian Learning Center was opened in 1977 as a service to the church and community offering quality day care, reasonable rates and flexible schedules. CLC provides a program that stimulates the physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual growth of the children under its direction. The Learning Center operates as a nonprofit corporation adjunct to the St. Paul Lutheran Church and University Center. It is governed by a Board of Directors, consisting of five members; four members from the congregation of St. Paul Lutheran Church and one parent of a currently enrolled CLC child. The CLC Board of Directors is responsible for setting new policies, approving policy changes, setting tuition rates, coordinating Center special events and approving the yearly budget.SpecialtiesCurriculum Manipulative MATH (Pre-K) Wee Learn (2-5 yrs old) Handwriting Without Tears Music Program Spanish Program The children enjoy Chapel with Pastor Russ Tieken or Director of Christian Education Ron DuPree every Thursday morning.
