Abilene High School
Abilene High School offers education to students in grades nine through 12. It has an enrollment of more than 2,000 students and is affiliated with the Abilene Independent School District. The school s curriculum includes English, science, social studies, home economics, mathematics, and special and physical education. The additional courses offered by the school include agriculture, family and consumer sciences, health science, technology education, industrial trades, marketing and business education. The school provides a variety of extracurricular activities to students, including arts, band, choir, orchestra, photography, speech, journalism and performing arts. The sports activities offered by the school include baseball, basketball, cross-country, football, golf, gymnastics, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track, power lifting and volleyball. Abilene High School also has a parent-teacher association, and is located in Abilene, Texas.
