Brook Mays Music Company first opened its doors for business in 1901. Originally, the firm dealt exclusively in pianos and became the largest dealership of its kind in the entire region. In the forties, Brook Mays began to expand its merchandise lines to include organs, sheet music and a band instrument division. Today, the company consists of a family of 63 retail locations operating in eight states under 10 different brand names that are synonymous with quality musical instruments.
